Hi, Saddle & Shaker Bars is run by me, Ric.
Saddle & Shaker came about as I journeyed back into the world of work after becoming a mum to my two lovely girls. After some questionable experiences as a working mum, I decided to become my own boss doing something I love.
I have a wealth of experience in Event Management and providing first class Customer Service. Not to mention, I do love a party and I’ve spent a fair amount of time as a guest on the other side of the bar! So it makes perfect sense for me to provide the most fabulous event drinks experience to you and your guests.
I am passionate about discovering the finest ingredients and getting to know producers and their stories. I am so excited about incorporating some of those ingredients into the most delicious tasting and gorgeous looking drinks, thoughtfully designed to share those stories.
Since embarking on project Saddle & Shaker, I have immersed myself in the world of drinks, and I’ve discovered a particular passion for Cocktails!
I’ve attended mixology workshops, visited well-loved cocktail bars, and achieved accreditations including my Personal Licence and WSET Level 1 in Spirits. And I won’t stop there, I’m hooked on learning more!
I’m on a quest to find the finest ingredients from the best producers, to work with the nicest suppliers, and I’m on the path of discovery regarding sustainability. There’s a lot to learn, but it’s important to me to do good things in a good way. To treat my surroundings and the people around me consciously and with respect.
My mission is to provide a luxury drinks experience for any type of event of any size. I’m well equipped to take care of all the details – from first contact, throughout planning, right up until the end of your event – allowing you to enjoy time well spent with your guests.
